Shark Week premieres tonight on the Discovery Channel, so I thought it would be fun to put together a quick round up of fun shark-related stuff to do with the kiddos. I've done a few of these activities and some just look fun to try. Enjoy!
Here's a link to the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Open Sea Web Cam. You'll see giant hammerhead sharks, tuna, pelagic rays and giant green sea turtles swim LIVE. This stunning one-million-gallon exhibit is home to one of the most diverse communities of open-ocean animals to be found in any aquarium.
I love finding coloring pages on the internet -- there are tons, especially on Pinterest.

All you need to make this fun bookmark is origami paper, cardstock, scissors, craft glue, googly eyes, and these easy instructions. This craft is a great way to encourage reading! Source: Kids Activity Blog
