Here's an exciting idea for Fall family fun - plan a Mystery Day!
When the kids wake up, tell them what to wear and what to pack, but don’t reveal your destination. The kids will probably ask questions and you might want to give hints, but keep the secret and build anticipation. Maybe it will be something that takes only an hour or two, or it might be an all-day affair. It can be totally free - whatever you choose to surprise your kids with, they will have a great time figuring out the mystery and enjoying a day planned just for them. Talk about fond memories!

SLO Classical Academy (SLOCA) is a classical school offering options to make education work for families. They offer a full hybrid program for grades K-8, which means two days at school with three days of home education, all days following the classical model and curricula carefully laid out by the school. They also have a four day program available for grades 5-8. High school students attend school three days each week. Visit SLO Classical Academy’s website and Down Home for more information about this growing, dynamic, learning community.
