Easter Egg Hunt Etiquette:
It's always fun to take the kids to Easter egg hunts, but it's a bummer when someone ruins the fun but not playing fair. So here are a few rules of etiquette to make these fun for everyone:
Egg decorating at Michaels
Michaels stores will host an egg decorating event at all stores on Saturday, March 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. This event is for the whole family, 3 years old and up. Buy the eggs, and the rest of the supplies to decorate them will be provided.
Make Easter Slime at Michaels
Customize slime to fill cute Easter containers on Saturday, March 31 from 1 to 3 p.m. at all Michaels locations. All supplies will be provided, including premade slime. Age 3 and up are welcome welcome Pre-registration is not required, first come, first served, please arrive in enough time to complete project prior to 3 p.m.
Spring Festival at Charles Paddock Zoo
From March 23 through April 8, Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero presents Spring Festival, which is free with zoo admission. Come enjoy fur and feathers for a limited time. In addition, check out the new Madagascar exhibit and the new home that is in progress for the Red Pandas. The zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the Spring Festival festival is included with your zoo ticket.
Hop To It--Visit the Easter Bunny
Meet the Easter Bunny in the holiday house in Downtown City Park on Saturday, March 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring the whole family for some holiday fun, and it's free. Bring your camera and get a free Easter egg.
Albertsons Easter Egg Hunt, Paso Robles
Albertsons in Paso Robles will hold an Easter egg hunt in the produce department at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 25. The hunt is for children 1 to 10. Bring your own Easter basket.

MOMS Club Easter Egg Hunt
Join the MOMS Club of Atascadero for a free Easter egg hunt followed by a visit from Poppy (from A Dream Party) on Monday, March 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tom Jermin Sr. Community Park in Templeton. This event is a potluck so please bring a dish to share. Make sure to RSVP HERE, so we know how many eggs are needed.
Giant Easter Egg Hunt, Templeton
Celebration Worship Center will host its annual Giant Easter Egg Hunt at 988 Vineyard Drive in Templeton at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 31 (registration will take place at 10 a.m.). There will be 12,000 eggs hidden for the kids to find. The free event will include a food, snow cones, cotton candy, games, bounce houses and prize eggs. Egg dive at Paso Robles Sports Club
A spring Easter egg dive at Paso Robles Sports Club Pool with be held on Saturday, March 31 at 10:30 a.m. It is for ages 3 years to 8 years (non-swimmers through beginners) from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Non-swimmers who cannot touch in four feet of water must be accompanied by an adult in the water. Ages 5- 12 (intermediate/advanced) 11:30 a.m. to noon. Swimmers will have the opportunity to recover objects from the shallow and deep end of the pool.
Eggs will be spread out through the appropriate end of the pool for the proper swimming level. Grab as many eggs as possible. Find the egg with the golden coins and be the big winner of a bigger prize. The cost is $4 per member; $7 for

Easter crafts & egg hunt
The Community Church of Atascadero United Church of Christ will hold its annual Easter crafts and egg hunt party date on Saturday, March 31 at 1 p.m. Bring all your children for lots of fun and games. The Easter Bunny will be there for photo opportunities. The party will start in the church basement, so follow the signs. Crafts and games start at 11 a.m., the egg hunt usually starts around 11:30 a.m. or noon.
Broken Earth Winery, 5625 E Highway 46 in Paso Robles, will host a family-friendly egg hunt & roll on Saturday, March 31 from 2 to 4 p.m. This event is complementary to the public and meant to bring enjoyment to all. The Easter Bunny will be hosting a series of activities including a downhill egg roll challenge and a mega Easter egg hunt featuring more than 1,000 eggs. There will be treats for the kids and wine for the adults.
EGGStreme Zone Challenge Egg Hunt
Atascadero First Assembly, 5545 Ardilla Road in Atascadero, will have an EGGSteme Zone Challenge, where children will work together to gather eggs, unlock the zones and complete the challenge. There will be more than 8,000 colorful eggs. The challenge will take place during the 9 and 11 a.m. Easter services on Sunday, April 1. There will be challengers, gmes, inflatables and prizes.

Easter Egg Hunt at AUMC
Atascadero United Methodist Church will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt between its two traditional Easter services on Sunday, April 1. Children in the fifth grade and younger will meet in Fellowship Hall at 9:30 a.m. The hunt will start at promptly 9:45 a.m. The eggs are found quickly, so be sure to arrive early. The littlest hunters will get a head start before the older children are let into the yard.
An Easter sunrise service will be held at 6:30 a.m., followed by a breakfast. The traditional Easter services will be held at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and child care will be provided. For more information, go to www.atascaderoumc.org or call 805-466-2566.
Easter Egg Hunt, Paso Robles
The Bridge Christian Church will host an Easter egg hunt for children at Centennial Park in Paso Robles, following a message and worship starting at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 1.
The egg hunt will be divided into age-appropriate sections for babies through fifth grade. There will be helpers available for younger children so they are sure to have fun searching for and finding eggs. All are invited and welcome.

Bunny Trail Downtown, San Luis Obispo
Get ready for the “egg-citement” of the Bunny Trail Downtown at Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market on Thursday, March 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. Children along with their families can hop along the Bunny Trail, visiting businesses and filling their bags with treats. Plus, kids can have their photo taken with Downtown Bunny at the corner of Chorro and Higuera streets for a small fee-$5 for taking your own photo, $7 for a keepsake photo and $8 for a combo.
Easter egg hunt, SLO
A free Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday, March 31 at 9:30 a.m. at Dairy Creek Golf Facility in SLO. The free hunt is for children 12 and younger. The children should bring their own baskets. The Easter egg hunt will be held alongside the first 5K Charity Fun Run and Speedgolf Classic, which started at 6:30 a.m. The proceeds from the event will benefit the Frace family who tragically lost both of their daughters, Brynn and Brittni, in a recent car accident.

The Laguna Lake Golf Course will host its annual egg hunt on Saturday, March 31 at 11 a.m. for children 8 and younger. Children should bring a basket to collect the goodies they collect during the egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will also be there.

Spring Family Tea Party in A.G.
Arroyo Grande will host its third annual Spring Fun Family Tea Party on Saturday, March 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. at LifePoint Church, 207 Pilgrim Way in Arroyo Grande. The cost is $16 per adult and $9 per child. Avila Beach Annual Easter Egg Hunt
The annual Avila Beach annual Easter Egg Hunt is on Saturday, March 24 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Avila Beach Community Center, 191 San Miguel Street. There will be snacks, eggs to color, arts & crafts, an Easter egg hunt, bounce house and photos with the Easter Bunny. The event is hosted by the Avila Beach Civic Association and the San Luis Yacht Club.
Nipomo Kids Day & Egg Hunt
Nipomo's annual Kids Day & Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nipomo Community Park. There will be inflatables, a magic show, vendor booths, carnival games, model rock launches, a Rotary barbecue and an Easter egg hunt for children 0 to 12. The egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. on the baseball field.
Mathematical egg hunt, AG
A Mathematical Spring Egg Hunt will be held in Strother Park between 9 a.m. and noon. Your pre-registration of $5 per child includes: A customized mathematical egg hunt for them based on their skill level, where they will solve six clues and mysteries using their math skills and a few English ones too, in order to find the six buried marbles that they get to redeem at the end of the hunt for six eggs filled with prizes. Participants will also get to decorate a sugar cookie (gluten- and dairy-free options are also available).
Pack a picnic lunch and hang out with friends after the hunt to enjoy the new play equipment at Strother Park. Allow about an hour for the hunt.

Arroyo Grande Easter Egg Hunt & Festival
The Arroyo Grande Family Egg Hunt and Festival will be held on Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. sharp at Elm Street Park. The event includes free egg hunt, free barbecued hot dog lunch. There will also be a carnival, cotton candy and bounce houses for a small fee. There will be free games for each age group and free photos with the Easter Bunny. Easter Eggstravaganza, Shell Beach
The City of Pismo Beach Parks & Recreation Department presents the annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Festivities will be held at Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach, and the hunt is free.
The celebration includes games, bounce houses, face painting, a balloon artist and much more. Participants are asked to bring their own basket or bag to collect their eggs and goodies. The Easter Bunny might even be available for photos, so be sure to bring your cameras.

Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt, Pismo Beach
The fourth annual Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, March 31 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Spyglass Park, 2511 Spyglass Drive in Pismo Beach. Participants are asked to bring a dozen filled eggs.
Pismo Beach Outlets Easter egg scavenger hunt
Pismo Beach Outlets will host an Easter egg scavenger hunt at the welcoming center, 333 Five Cities Drive, Ste. 100 in Pismo Beach, on Saturday, March 31 at 12:30 p.m. Families visit the California Welcome Center to receive hints on where to find Easter eggs filled with goodies. Followed by the scavenger hunt, there will be Arts & Crafts and Coffee/Hot Chocolate available in the California Welcome Center.
Easter Egg Hunt at Brunch on Wheels, Avila
Avila Beach's monthly Brunch on Wheels will host a free Easter egg hunt at noon on Sunday, April 1 at 6464 Ana Bay Road. This event will include food trucks, live music, lawn games, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and more.
St. Joseph Nipomo Youth Faith Formation will host an Easter egg hunt at the church, 298 S. Thompson Ave, Nipomo, on Sunday, April 1 from noon to 1 p.m. after the 11 a.m. mass.
Cayucos Easter Egg Hunt
The Cayucos Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Hardie Park on Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. The Cayucos Lioness Club will sponsor an Easter egg hunt for children and then they can meet the Easter Bunny.
Los Osos Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt
The 29th annual Los Osos Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 31 from 10 a.m. to noon at the South Bay Community Center, 2180 Palisades Ave. and includes a hot dog lunch, bounce houses, balloon animals, 4-H petting zoo, scout demo and more. Shamel Park Easter Egg Hunt, Cambria
The Shamel Park Easter Egg Hunt in Cambria is on Sunday, April 1 at 8 a.m. for children ages 8 and under. Admission is free.
Life Way Fellowship, 2627 Skyway Drive, Santa Maria, will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. for children from birth through sixth grade.
Riverbench Vineyard & Winery, 6020 Foxen Canyon Road in Santa Maria will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be more than 2,000 eggs hidden in the garden surrounding the vineyard tasting room.
