Beaverstock kicks off on Saturday, 9/19 at noon, and trust me, your family does not want to miss it!
Imagine two beautiful days filled with great music, yummy food, craft beer and wine, unique art, yoga, and fun for the kiddos all under the oaks at Castoro Cellars. Sounds pretty amazing, right?! I know! On top of all that, the event benefits the Templeton Education Foundation. Awesomeness!
The musical line-up includes Dawes, War, The California Honeydrops, La Santa Cecilia, and local bands like Bear Market Riot, One Time Spaceman, and more. For a full line-up with approximate showtimes click here. Food and treat vendors include The Pairing Knife, Bliss Cafe, Kona Ice, Sugar Lips Mini Donuts, and more. There will also be a large selection of craft beer, cider, and wine available for purchase.
So now you might be thinking, “sounds fun for me, but what about my kiddos?”
Don’t worry, Beaverstock has a large Kits Area (FYI: a kit is a baby beaver), yoga, sing alongs, magic shows, and hoola hoop lessons just for them!
The Kits Area includes a musical petting zoo, a variety of arts and crafts, and tie-dying. Savvy Sitters will have several sitters there from 3pm to 6pm daily to help with all the fun. Carmen from A Dream Party will also be there, dressed as a beaver, providing free face painting — can’t miss that!
Here’s the full daily kits schedule:
2:30pm — Kits Yoga (Saturday only)
3pm to 6pm — Face painting, glitter tattoos, feather hair extensions, and balloon animals with the beaver from A Dream Party AND tie-dying with help from Savvy Sitters
4:15pm to 4:45pm — Sing Along
5pm to 5:30pm — Magic Show
6pm to 7pm — Hoola Hoop Fun
And if that’s not enough, there's a giant chalk wall, hoola hoops, a photo booth by The 805 Photo Booth, and more fun for the kids throughout the venue.
Now, doesn’t that sound like TONS OF FUN for the kiddos?! I think so!
Beaverstock is truly a one of a kind experience the whole family will enjoy! Head out Saturday, 9/19 and/or Sunday, 9/20 to see for yourself!
